  I live in Lindsay and took my son to Dr. Grace Huang when he was born. As he grew he began to crawl and and take steps. After a couple of months we noticed that he had an irregular walk that didn't seem to perfect over time as most children do. When we brought this to her attention we were told by Dr. Huang to "put his shoes on backwards and it will fix itself". On the advice of my sister we took him to a different doctor. That is when he was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. He is now 5 yrs. old, has all the medical attention, physical therapy, and all his medical necessities met by a great pediatrician. I'll never forget how this idiot came up with the solution that she did. I just hope she takes the time and puts in the effort to look deeper into any medical issues these children she cares for may have because she sure didn't with mine! Why not take the time? I just don't get it. Maybe she squeezed by medical school, who knows....if you don't feel comfortable with something don't hesitate to ask, to go somewhere else or to get a second opinion. Your children are more important than some cheap solution.

  So at the beginning I didn't have an issue it was just always waiting over 30 min to get in to the room. But it just kept getting worse especially with the staff.. never had an issue with the Dr. I was there a while till finally last year I left to a different Dr and then months later I had moved my kids to a better Dr was when all of a sudden I get a letter that I'm getting charged for no reason from Dr hwangs office. I called its a bill from 2013 they never told me anything about this bill never mentioned anything to me till after I decided to leave. The receptionist said she would talk to the Dr and call me back.. did I hear from them NO.. of course I'm mad why in the neck would I get a bill after 2 years once I leave and not during the whole time I was with them.. seriously they need to organize their dam crap. I'm just glad I do t take my children there anymore.. I've had different upsetting visits there I don't recommend

  I do not recommend anyone make an appointment with this office. Dr. Hwang is a good doctor, and she worked well with our 2-year-old twin daughters, but the level of incompetence with her office staff is so high that it’s not worth dealing with. We made an appointment 3 weeks ahead of time. We arrived at the office in Porterville and saw a crudely-made sign on the door saying the office would be closed today. It gave a number to call their office in Lindsay. When I called, they said they had no appointment on the schedule for us. They said this was the reason they did not call to let us know the Porterville office would be closed. We drove to Lindsay and waited awhile to be helped, even though the waiting room was totally empty. Empty, that is, except for a half dozen used tissues strewn about the chairs and floor. It was very unclean. Once we saw the doctor, everything was fine. As I said before, Dr. Hwang is a good doctor. She is knowledgeable, and works well with children. It’s a shame her office staff is so disorganized and incompetent. My two daughters were prescribed medicine. When we went to pick up the medicine, only one daughter’s prescription was ready. This was because the office staff simply didn’t send the information to the pharmacy. I had to call their offices the next day, and after much delay, they sent the prescription to the pharmacy. We went to pick it up and they sent the wrong information for the wrong medicine. We got it sorted out with the pharmacy, no thanks to the office staff of Dr. Hwang’s office. I am writing this in the hopes that other people do not waste all the time we wasted by making an appointment with this office. I also hope that Dr. Hwang and her office staff will see this and improve their ways. I recommend they become more organized and double-check their work. There were too many mistakes in close succession for it to be a coincidence.
